We instantly fell in love with the building at 210 W 19th Terrace, right in the heart of the Crossroads District near downtown Kansas City.  It started life as an ice house, keeping the residents of KC cool, but more recently was the office for RMTA (coincidentally the architects who are redesigning the space for us) and Sporting KC (our beloved soccer team and their innovation group).

The space has high ceilings with gigantic windows and is completely constructed from beautiful wood pillars and brick.  We wanted a lot of the original ice house to show through while transforming it into a space perfect for building the future of mobile health.

The team at RMTA got to work and did an amazing job of retaining the building’s natural charm while providing for plenty of collaborative work space, private conference rooms and recreational areas where our entrepreneurs can step away and unwind during long days.

We’ll keep you posted on the construction as it progresses over the next few months.  For now, take a look at some of the renderings…the only thing it’s missing is you and your mobile health startup!
