Tecshtars is looking for full time talent in Kansas City to help build the next amazing batch of mobile health startups as they grow from early stage to venture-backed companies. We’re hiring Associates (assisting the Program Manager) and Hackstars (developers and designers) to work on a contract basis through the duration of the three-month accelerator program. Meet Sprint executives while working in what some have called the coolest accelerator space in the world – the Sprint Accelerator! You’ll grow your network exponentially working side by side with the ten startups while regularly hearing thought leaders and industry experts share their insights and solutions to today’s biggest challenges. You’ll also be invited to Sprint Accelerator social events with the entrepreneurs and the local community.

Are you a Techstars Associate?

Are you interested in technology, startups, entrepreneurship and venture capital?  Can you commit to the equivalent of a full time position for a three month time period and be available from 9 to 5 and beyond…basically whenever needed? The schedule is flexible but a strong commitment is expected. Applicants should be able to jump in and complete any task quickly and effectively; a jack or jill of all trades with a varied skill set. We expect a great attitude, desire to learn and meet new people, and lots of energy and enthusiasm.

Associates will assist with the day-to-day operations of the accelerator working closely with the Sprint Accelerator Program Manager. Tasks can include – but are not limited to! – scheduling, marketing, business development work, research, providing and managing content (photos and videos) and general office management. You’ll help prepare for upcoming events, organize meetings and run logistics for special guest visits, take meeting notes, and set up office space for events.

Or are you a Hackstar?

You’re a brilliant developer, a great designer, a UX star, you can execute like mad, sling top-quality code with the best of them, or turn pixels into perfection? We’re looking for you! The Techstars companies selected for the Sprint Accelerator will need more technical skills to help them do more faster during the program. Hackstars are highly-skilled software developers and designers. You get paid for the program and some Hackstars have ultimately joined or even become co-founders of the companies they’ve helped during the program. What a great way to hack into Techstars! If this sounds like you, you could be a Hackstar.

You’re a code-slinging mac-daddy superstar guru at PHP, Java, .NET, Python, Objective-C, Ruby, JQuery, or design/UI/UX. You can design, cut and code efficiently and brilliantly
You want to have a Techstars experience so you can learn all about startups and funding from our mentors. You want to work side-by-side with some of the country’s most promising new founders and young companies.
